It could be considered a Mediterranean climate, warm in the east, which varies losing humidity and gaining temperature as you advance towards the west. As regards to the Pluviometry, it varies from the 800mm. in the east to 500-600mm. in the west. As a limiting factor to take into consideration there exists the risk of spring frosts. The safe periods of frosts are from 6 to 8 months. The average duration of the dry period is from 2-3 months in the eastern area, to 4 months in the western region. The average minimum temperature of the coldest month is from 10,3ºC in the month of January, which is when the plant is in its heart of winter rest.
